Inversions & Backbends with Penny
Welcome to an explorational class in Inversions & Backbends with experienced teacher Penny Christodoulides.
This class is open to everyone, both beginner inverter and more experienced participants. It is adviced that you have some prior basic yoga practice in order to get out the most and to appreciate the foundation used during inverting.
In each class different levels of modifications and variations are being taught for you to select from. If you are new to inverting then always select the easy option.
Inversions can be a passive pose like legs up the wall or a more physical pose like handstand.
Inversions and backbends are well known to improve circulation, relieve tensions in the body and boost new energy levels as well as confidence in one’s self.
To join this class it is important that you follow guidance, take responsibility for your own practise, make choices that always keep you safe and balanced within the realm of your ability and most of all tap into the wisdom to let go of any competitive and comparative nature.
Note: If you have glaucoma or detached retina, then this class is not suitable.

When booking a course, you are automatically booked to all classes of the course. If you cannot attend a class, you must cancel no later than two hours before the class starts. You will then receive a credit to use before the end of the course. Late cancellations are non-refundable.
