This workshop focuses on the breath, basic poses, and basic philosophical tenets of yoga.
You’ll explore breath awareness combined with natural transitions and coordinating movements for health and longevity. You’ll learn where to place your gaze, how to breathe during transitions and holding positions. Time is available in each pose to contemplate simply being present, observing your mind and body in each unique moment.
The practice will be led with compassion and kindness, encouraging you to respond lovingly to what is possible exploring ways to re-enliven your whole being.
Many people find that basic yoga helps them cope better with stress and manage daily demands whilst improving sleep and general well being.
